• Mantotherm Dekominera – Grain Texture should be applied minimum 12 hours after the application of Mantotherm Primer application on such floors, on which Mantotherm Plaster Mortar or MegaSıva Thermo prior to such primer application.Application Methods :
• The homogenous mixture to be prepared should be applied to the surface smoothly and properly with a stainless steel trowel.
• Any surplus material should be peeled off the surface during the application in order to ensure a homogenous and smooth surface.
• Once the decorative coating is applied homogenously on the application surface, the pattern design should be performed within 10 minutes at maximum.
• Design patterns should be created with a plastic trowel on the surface by way of circular motion in order to create the grain texture. The surface of the trowel should be peeled off frequently during the pattern design.Application Recommendations :
• The painting application should not be initiated before minimum 7 days following the mineral based grain texture decorative coating application.
• The product should, once mixed, be used before the expiration of its pot life. Any mortar, the pot life of which has expired, should not be used during the application.
• Any such foreign substance as lime, cement or plaster should not be added to the mortar prepared.
• Any extra water should not be added to the mixture.
• The surface should, subsequent to application, be protected from water and frost until it dries completely.
• The product should not be applied to such surfaces, which are exposed to risk of freezing within the next 24 hours, which are frozen or the frost of which is thawing.
