Usage Areas

• MegaTamir T108; It is used for repairing concrete structures under water and soil, filling of rod clearances, repairing surface defects of high strength concrete elements. It is suitable for use on horizontal and vertical surfaces of indoors and outdoors spaces.

    Mixing Time
    The mixture should be continued to be mixed with a low speed mixer so that no dry powder and lumps remain. After the mortar is rested for 2-3 minutes, it should be mixed again for 1-2 minutes before application.

    Equipment Cleaning
    After application, the mortar on the equipment should be cleaned with water before drying.

    ConsumptionThe recommended consumption for 2 mm thickness at m² is 3.9-4.3 kg. This value may vary depending on surface and ambient conditions.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces
      Interior and Exterior Walls;
      • Concrete
      Interior and exterior walls;

      Surface Preparation :
      Concrete surfaces;
      • The surface must be dry, clean, solid and free of dust; oil, dirt or adhesion preventive materials should be cleaned from the surface; and materials such as mortar and cement residues should be scraped. Application surface should be made damp prior to application.
      Reinforcing Rods;
      • If there is rust on the reinforcing rods, it should be cleaned.
      • MegaTamir T106 must be applied on the reinforcing rods with a brush in two coats and MegaTamir T108 should be applied before the primer has dried.

      Application Methods :
      • MegaTamir T108 should be applied to the whole surface using a steel trowel on all surfaces to be repaired or leveled.
      • For thicker applications; second layer should be applied in same way after first layer drying.
      • If applying two coats, 4-5 hours waiting period must be allowed between coats.

      Application Suggestions : • Once mixed, the product should be used within the pot life. During the application, the products that have reached the end of the pot life should not be used.
      • No foreign material such as lime, cement, gypsum should be added to the prepared mortar.
      • Extra water should not be added to the mixture.
      • Do not apply to unsound surfaces. The stability and bearing of old surfaces must be checked before application.
      • During and after the application, the surface should be protected from air currents and contact with water should be prevented.
      • It should not be applied on surfaces which are in danger of frost within 24 hours, which are already frozen or started to melt.
      • In hot weather, the material should not be exposed to direct sunlight, and the mixture should be prepared with cold water.
      • Low temperatures will slow down the setting, while high temperatures will accelerate it. For the most efficient application of the mortar, it is recommended to observe the specified temperature range.
      • Application should not be made on hot surfaces with excessive wind or direct sunlight. If there is a necessity of application in these environments, the environment and surface should be made ready for application before starting to work.
      • It should not be applied during the rainy weather, and the surface should be protected from rain for 24 hours.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      Surface and ambient temperatures during application should be between +5°C and +30°C.
