    The subject matter values have been obtained under laboratory conditions at temperature of 23 ± 2°C and relative humidity of %50 ± 5. The values shown in the foregoing table could differ depending on the prevailing surface and ambient conditions.

    Mixing RatioMust be mixed with water at the rate of 30% to 33% of its weight. (6 to 6.6 liters of water for a package of 20 Kg.)

    Mixing Time
    The product must be mixed with a low cycle mixer until no dry powder or lumps are left. After the mortar is let stand for 5 to 10 minutes, it must be remixed for 1 to 2 minutes prior to the application.

    Cleaning of Equipment
    Following the application, the residue of the joint filler mortar left on the equipment must be cleaned with water before it dries.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces
      Pool walls and flooring;
      • Ceramic
      • Marble
      • Glass mosaic

      Surface Preparation :
      • Surface coating materials must be pasted at least 24 hours prior to the application.
      • Joint application must be started after the adhesive is completely free of water.
      • The application surface as well as the joint gaps must be free of oil/grease, dust and dirt.

      Application Methods :
      • MegaFuga Pool joint filler must be applied in the joint gaps with the edger in parallel and diagonal strokes.
      • The excess mortar left on the application surface must be scraped by means of a soft tipped spatula or a moistened sponge tipped spatula and after letting the application stand for approximately 20 minutes based on the ambient temperature, the fine joint filler layer that could be left on the surface must be cleaned by means of a moistened sponge.
      • Surface smoothing and cleaning operation must be performed with the aid of a dry cloth before MegaFuga Pool is fully dry.

      Application Recommendations :
      • Prior to the application; to ensure that the white filled joints do not turn yellow and the colored ones are applied smoothly without any fluctuations in color, the surface underneath the adhesive and coating must be completely free of humidity and moisture.
      • The application consistency of the joint filling material must be the same for vertical and horizontal applications.
      • To prevent any damage to the joint fillers, use of cleaning materials such as the bleach, hydrochloric acid and lime remover must be avoided. MegaClean must be used to clean joint fillers.
      • Following the mixing of the product, its use must take place within the pot life of the same. Products should under no condition be used if at the time of the application their pot life has expired.
      • Foreign substances such as lime, cement, plaster must not be added in the mortar prepared.
      • Extra water must not be added to the mixture.
      • Application must not be made on surfaces that are not durable. The durability and load bearing capacity of old surfaces must be checked prior to the application.
      • The surface must be protected against air currents and its contact with water must be prevented during and after application of the product.
      • The product must not be applied on surfaces with the risk of frost within the next 24 hours or on frozen or defrosting surfaces.
      • The product must not be exposed to direct sunlight in hot weather and the mixture must be made by using cold water.
      • Application must not be made on surfaces exposed to excessive winds or direct sunlight and thus hot and in case it is necessary to perform the application under such weather conditions, then the environment and surface must be rendered ready for the application. • Application must not be made in rainy weather and the surface must be protected against rain for a period of 24 hours after application.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      • During application, the surface and ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C.
