• MegaIzo Bant DL S908 is used for ensuring movement of the structure independent of each other and keeping vibrations regional in areas such as bases, partitions, expansion joints, pools, balconies, parapets, roof joints, potable and wastewater tanks, where there is high expansions and movement.     Application Procedure

    • Application Procedure

      Surface Preparation:
      Surface must be dry, clean, solid and free of dust; oil, dirt or other materials that may prevent adhesion must be cleaned, materials such as mortar, cement must be scratched.

      Application Method :
      • First layer is applied with MegaTamir Epo T501 prepared and Megaİzo Bant DL S908 is placed on the first layer, second layer application is made in a manner that the first layer and part of the dilatation tape desired to be stretched.
      • As expansion and dilatation joints will be affected more from the movements of the building, these joints must be primarily filled with Megaİzo PU Mastik HM S492.

      

      • Same method can be applied for the water insulation and protection of horizontal and vertical joints.

      

      Application Recommendations :
      • It is necessary not to apply MegaTamir Epo T501, which is used as adhesive, to surfaces in gap in order not to reduce flexibility of Megaİzo Bant DL S908 . If any spread is observed, measure must be taken by cleaning it immediately for not encountering with any performance loss.

      Surface and ambient temperature
      Surface and Ambient Temperature must be between +5°C and +35°C during the application.
      During the applications performed under different temperatures, curing period may be longer or shorter.
