Usage Areas

• MegaTamir İ is used as concrete repair mortar on the floors, walls and ceilings of any buildings, indoors and outdoors. It is also used for the repairing of surfaces prior to granite and ceramic applications.

    Mixing Ratio• The product should be mixed with water, weighing equal to 17-19 % of the product. (4,25 – 4,75 liters of water for a 25 kg package)

    Mixing Period
    The product should be stirred with a low-speed mixer until any dry dust and globs are eliminated. The mortar should, then, be stirred once again for 1 to 2 minutes after being had settled for 2 to 3 minutes following preparation.

    Equipment Cleaning
    The equipment used should be cleaned with water following the application before the mortar dries.

    ConsumptionRecommended consumption amount for application in roughly 2 mm thickness on 1 m2 surface is 3.4 – 3.8 kg. The said value may vary, depending on the surface and ambient conditions.

    PackagingMegaTamir İ is delivered in net 25 kg craft bags, which are stowed in 54 pcs. on a 80 cm x 100 cm palette (1350 kg).

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces
      Indoors and Outdoors Floors;

      • ConcreteSurface Preparation :
      • The application surfaces should be dry, clean, sound and dust free, and should have been cleansed of oil, dirt or any materials that may prevent adhesion, and any such materials as mortar and cement residues should be scraped from the application surface.

      Application Methods :
      • MegaTamir İ should be applied in equal thickness on all surfaces to be repaired or smoothed.
      • In the cases, where the product is to be applied in two coats; a stand by period of 2 to 3 hours should be allowed between the primary coat.

      Application Recommendations :
      • The product should, once mixed, be used before the expiration of its pot life. Any product, the pot life of which has expired, should not be used during the application.
      • Any such foreign substance as lime, cement or plaster should not be added to the mortar prepared.
      • Any extra water should not be added to the mixture.
      • The product should not be applied on unsound surfaces. The soundness and the load bearing capacity of old surfaces should be checked prior to adhesion.
      • The surface should be preserved from air currents and water contact during and after the application.
      • The product should not be applied to such surfaces, which are exposed to risk of freezing within the next 24 hours, which are frozen or the frost of which is thawing.
      • Due care should be taken to ensure that the material is not exposed to direct sunlight in hot weather conditions, and the product should be mixed with cold water.
      • The product should not be applied on extremely windy weather conditions or on hot surfaces, which are exposed to direct sunlight; and in the cases, where application is imperative under such conditions, the environment and the surface should be prepared for application in advance.
      • The product should not be applied in rainy weather conditions, and the application surface should be preserved from rain for a period of 24 hours.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      The surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C whilst at application.
