Usage Areas

• For usage on interior and exterior surfaces of any kind of constructions with cement based plaster, concrete, fibro-cement sheets and on heat insulation systems in order to obtain a smooth surface prior to painting and for repairing cracks in the plaster. It is suitable for use on vertical surfaces of indoors and outdoors spaces.

    These values have been obtained with tests performed under laboratory circumstances at 23 ± 2°C and 50% ± 5 relative humidity. The values given in the table may show differences depending on the surface and ambient conditions.

    Mixing Time
    Mix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Stir product regularly during application to keep it homogeneous.

    Cleaning the Equipment
    After the application, clean the used equipment with water before the product dries out on the tools.

    ConsumptionFor an application with 1 mm thickness the recommended consumption per m² is: 1,75 ± 0,2 kg/m² . This value may vary depending on surface and ambient conditions.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces
      Exterior walls;

      Surface Preparation :
      • The surface must be dry, clean and dust-free, oil, dirt and any materials that prevent from adhering must be cleaned off the surface, any remnants like mortar or cement must be scratched off the surface.

      Application Methods :
      • Prior to use, MegaTamir T201 must be mixed until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
      • Apply with a steel trowel over the entire surface.
      • Depending on the surface condition, in cases where multiple applications will be necessary, make sure that the first layer is completely dry before you start with the next layer.

      Application Recommendations :
      • Do not apply on surfaces that bear risk of frost within the next 24 hours, on frozen or unfreezing surfaces.
      • Avoid exposure of product to direct sunlight at hot weather.
      • Do not apply this product on hot surfaces that are exposed to heavy winds or direct sunlight. In case there is absolute necessity for applying on these surfaces, the environment and surface must be prepared for application.
      • Do not apply on rainy weather; already applied surfaces should be protected for 24 hours against rain.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      During application the surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C.
