    Equipment Cleaning
    After the application, product on the equipment used must be cleaned with water before it dries.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces:
      Indoor and Outdoor Floor
      • Concrete

      Surface Preparation:
      Cured Concrete:
      • Surface defects with depths deeper than 1 cm must be repaired with MegaTamir İ Yapısal or MegaTamir K Yapısal repair mortars 6-8 hours before application.
      • If there are materials such as curing material, epoxy, acrylic coating and asphalt on the surface to be treated, no application should be performed on these materials and they must be scraped off from the surface before application.
      • Cured concrete should be free of weak and foreign layers by using a concrete cleaning machine. For an aesthetic appearance, this should be done homogeneously on entire surface. The higher the number of progressive wiping with the tips from the thick to the thin, the smoother and stronger the concrete is obtained.
      • In order to obtain an efficient surface, it should be ensured that no scratches remain on the surface during the concrete honing procedure. The number of the honing procedures to be applied may vary depending on the quality, ductility and hardness of the surface.
      • After concrete honing process has been applied, the surface polishing process will be applied gradually with resin pads according to the desired brightness level before applying the product. (Resin pads numbered from 1 to 7)
      • All dust, dirt, loose materials should be completely removed with a brush and / or vacuum cleaner before applying MegaZemin Z901.

      Application Methods:
      Cured Concrete:
      • Application should be made on entire surface by means of a roller, brush or low pressure spray unit. It is important that the material forms a wet layer on the surface. This is necessary to observe whether the surface is fully saturated with the material. If quick drying (rapid absorption by the floor) is observed, one more layer should be applied.
      • In order to achieve the highest penetration, the application must be terminated before the gelling period (20-40 minutes) is over.
      • After the gelling process, the surface should be lightly sprayed with water and be reprocessed to for 10 – 20 minutes more to allow more penetration of water. After this process, the surface should be generously rinsed with plenty of water and the excess material rabbles should be removed from the floor squeegee. After the concrete has been saturated, the excess material remaining on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned.
      • If a more aesthetic and smooth appearance is desired, a final coat polishing process may be applied on the surface with resin pads suitable for the floor 24 hours after the MegaZemin Z901 product has been applied in accordance with the insturctions.

      Application Recommendations:
      • The product in the jerry can should be shaken gently before application.
      • In order to achieve the same performance everywhere, no dry spots should be left during application. Touch up should be done where necessary.
      • Residues or excess material during the application should be washed thoroughly with water and removed from the surface. When the product is allowed to dry, white spots may occur after contact with water. This residual solution is non-toxic and can be drained into sewer.
      • Surface quality, pre-physical treatment (wiping, sanding) will vary greatly depending on the age of the surface, cement content, moisture content, porosity and penetration of the product.
      • MegaZemin Z901 will not cover any deep stains or excessive wear on the concrete.
      • Products with expired pot lives must not be used under any circumstance during application.
      • MegaZemin Z901 is a ready to use product. No foreign materials should be added during application.
      • No application should be performed on unstable surfaces. Robustness and bearing capacity of old surfaces must be checked before application.
      • The surface must be protected from air currents before, during and after the application.
      • It should not be applied on surfaces that may likely to freeze, are already frozen or are defrosting within 24 hours.
      • It must be noted that the material is not exposed to direct sunlight in hot weathers.
      • No application should be made on extremely windy and hot surfaces directly facing to the sun and if it is compulsory to apply on these environments, environment and surface must be made ready for application before start.
