Usage Areas

• MegaFuga Guard is used on frequently cleaned surfaces and floors in all indoors and outdoors spaces in order for the preservation of the color of the joint fillings, which have been cleaned with MegaClean or recently applied.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces

      Surface Preparation :
      • The surface should be clean, robust and free from dust, and be cleaned from oil, dirt or any material that may adversely affect the application with MegaClean.
      • The application surface should be dry and absorbent.

      Application Methods :
      • MegaFuga Guard should be applied to joint fillings minimum 48 hours after the application of joint filler.
      • In the case of the applications before joint filling, due care should be taken to ensure that MegaFuga Guard contaminate the joint gaps.
      • MegaFuga Guard can be applied on joint fillings by spraying directly thanks by way of spray bottle.
      • MegaFuga Guard should be thoroughly spread on the joint filling with a cloth or sponge.
      • MegaFuga Guard can be applied in a secondary coat shortly before the initial coat dries in order to ensure more effective protection.
      • The surface of ceramic coating can be cleaned easily with a moist cloth or sponge once MegaFuga Guard dries completely.

      Application Recommendations :
      • The product should not be used for such coatings that are acid-sensitive (travertine, marble), glazed tiles and hand-made ceramics, fittings vulnerable to acid, and metals and metallic coated ceramic surfaces since it would cause color deformation.
      • The surface should be preserved from air currents and water contact during and after the application.
      • The product should not be applied in rainy weather conditions, and the application surface should be preserved from rain for a period of 24 hours.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      The surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C whilst at application.
