Usage Areas

• MegaLatex is used for any and all cement based mortar applications under construction site conditions, along with repair mortar applications for renovation purposes, along with trowel coating on the floors of industrial and large size spaces with heavy and busy traffic, along with plaster in pool applications, and along with repair mortars in beveling applications.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces
      The product is used with cement based mortars (ceramic adhesives, plasters, trowel coatings and repair mortars).

      Surface Preparation :
      The product is used with cement based mortars (ceramic adhesives, plasters, trowel coatings and repair mortars); therefore, the surface should be prepared as appropriate for such applications.

      Application Methods :
      • MegaLatex should be added to the mixing water of such materials as cement based plaster, trowel coating and adhesive mortar in such volume that is equal to 30 % of the volume of the mixing water at minimum. The adherence, mechanical resistance and waterproofing of cement based plasters, trowel coatings and adhesives increase proportionally with the volume of MegaLatex added.

      Application Recommendations :
      • MegaLatex should not be used for such applications, which are performed under inappropriate ambient and surface conditions.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      The surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C whilst at application.
