Application Procedure
- Application Surfaces
Interior and Exterior Wall;
• Cement based plaster (MegaFilm A205 applied)
• Concrete (MegaFilm A205 applied on MegaSıva K or MegaSıva İ H101)
• Mineral surfaces such as cement based slabs (MegaFilm A205 applied)
• Fiber cement board (MegaFilm A205 applied)
• Fixed plywood or old painted surfaces (MegaFilm A205 applied)
• Heat insulation board plaster mortar (MegaFilm A205 applied)Surface Preparation:
• Surface must be dry, clean, solid and free of dust; grease, dirt and materials that may prevent adhesion must be cleaned, substances such as mortar, cement residues must be scratched. Cracks on the surface must be filled with MegaTamir T201 and surface must be levelled if necessary. It must be waited for minimum 7 days before applying decorative covering on a newly constructed cement based surface.
• MegaFilm A205 primer must be applied as one layer on the surfaces.Application Method :
• MegaSıva H201 should be mixed until a homogeneous consistency is achieved prior to application.
• Mixed product should be applied on the surface primed with MegaFilm A205 by using a stainless steel trowel in equal thickness to the whole surface.
• In order to obtain a homogeneous and uniform surface, the excess material must be scraped off during the application. • After the decorative coating is applied homogeneously to the application surface, it must be waited for minimum 15 minutes and then patterns must be given with special equipment.
• After applying the product homogeneously on the application surface, pattern is given by polishing by means of a trowel if desired.Application Recommendations :
• Products with the same batch and lot numbers must be used in every façade in order to prevent any color and shade differences on the facade.
• MegaSıva H201 will acquire concrete color 24 hours after the application.
• It should not be applied on surfaces that may likely to freeze, are already frozen or are defrosting within 24 hours.
• It must be noted that the material is not exposed to direct sunlight in hot weathers.
• No application should be made on extremely windy and hot surfaces directly facing to the sun and if it is compulsory to apply on these environments, environment and surface must be made ready for application before start.
• No application should be made under rain and applied surface must be protected from rain for 24 hours.
