Usage Areas

• MegaTamir T901; Is used for the processes of adding ironstone on concrete, fixing balcony railings and stair railings, anchoring bolts, dowels and metric rods, for reinforcement works as well as anchorage and mounting applications exposed to lightweight load. It is suitable for use on horizontal and vertical surfaces both indoors and outdoors.

    Application Procedure

    • Application Surfaces

      Surface Preparation :
      • The anchorage hole made with a hammer drill should be cleaned with compressed air.
      • After it is ensured that there is no dust or any foreign substance in the hole drilled, application should be started.
      • If there is dirt and rust on the equipment to be treated, they should be removed.

      Application Methods :
      • A hole suitable for the diameter of the reinforcement should be drilled.
      • After the cover of the cartridge is opened and the foil is cut, a mixer cannula should be attached to the tip and placed in the gun.
      • The cartridge should be squeezed to some extent and should not be used until the mixture has become homogeneous. Mixture homogeneity of the components will be evident from the color after a while.
      • The material should be applied up to about 2/3 of the anchorage hole.
      • The anchoring material to be applied should be rotated slowly and placed in the hole.
      • Some material should effuse while placing the anchorage in the hole.
      • The material can be put into use after it has been allowed to be cured.

      Application Suggestions:
      • After the product package has been opened, it should be used according to the usage time shown on the application limits table. The products which have expired should not be used.
      • The inhomogeneous mixture coming out of the cartridge in the first place should not be used.
      • Product performance may vary depending on the surface and ambient conditions. • During the application, especially in indoor applications, ventilation of the environment should be enabled.
      • The material should not be applied on unstable surfaces. The soundness and bearing capacity of old surfaces should be checked before application.
      • Attention should be paid not to expose the material to direct sunlight in hot weather.
      • Low temperatures will slow down the setting process, whereas high temperatures will speed up the same. For the mixture to be efficiently applied, it is recommended to adhere to the specified temperature range.

      Surface and Ambient Temperature
      During application, the surface temperature should be between -5°C and +35°C whereas the ambient temperature should be approximately 2°C above the surface temperature.
